Picked up one of my Girlfriends magazines for a little reference practice the other day. I have no idea who these people are, so your guess is as good as mine.

New Website

So I've finally decided to stop being so crap with my online stuff, and since I haven't used thus blog in so long it is now connected to my new website at marcnobleillustraton.com. I'll be using it to mostly post random sketches, thoughts and ideas. I also have my new comic 'Wires' up on the site as well so give it a read and like on facebook and all that.

The Egg Crushers Children: Chapter 1

  so, this one has been a long time coming, but it's finally done. The first 24 pages of 'The Egg Crushers Children', a colaberation between myself and Edinburgh based writer Chris McCance. The story follows a young boy who is a soldier in the Father's Liberation Army, known lonly by his role 'Messanger'. As you can tell, I'm no writer, but you can check out Chris's more in depth and slightly more gripping description on The Egg Crushers Children Facebook page

  Since we have a Facebook page, I'm not going to throw all the pages up here, but here's a little taste and a few of my favorite pages from this first chapter.

   This has been a particularly fun project so far, giving me the oppertunity to really push myself to do the script justice and bring the characters and the whole world to life, and I'm lucking forward to working in some of the fantasy elements a little later in the story.

5, 6, 7, 8!

I've just finished this movie poster for a short film created by the Edinburgh based 'Debasers Filums' for there upcoming work entitled 5, 6, 7, 8! It was a pretty fun project to work on, since it gave me something a little different to do and was interesting to work a 50's dance theme into the poster. The film is going to be crowdfunded, meaning the poster and other materials will be given out to people who donate funding to the production, I'll post the details and links on that when I have them.
